My Coaching Credentials

Where it all started

Prior to starting Cambridge Leadership Coaching, Oakland Innovation Ltd was my own business that I co-founded in 1989. Its focus was on publishing and consulting services to support innovation in science and technology-based businesses and universities.

I provided information and consulting services to support innovation in science and technology-based companies and universities.

Working closely with industry, Universities, and the UK research Councils, I led a wide range of projects to promote knowledge transfer both in the UK and internationally.

My clients were mainly research and innovation directors. As the CEO role as well, I sold projects as well as recruited and developed consultants and analysts in the UK and overseas and developed business systems and processes.

I successfully exited and sold my shares in this international business in 2006.

I then started Cambridge Leadership Coaching. I wanted to focus on re-purposing my skills and experience to offer coaching support to clients in the sectors I am familiar with, ie Corporate Executive Leaders and Research Professionals.

“I feel more confident about my career choices and my capacity to achieve my goals.”

“I found Julie a warm, insightful and inspiring person to work with. She led me to new insights about myself and my needs and preferences, and greatly helped me during a transitional phase of my career. She was practical and organised and I felt that I came away with solid plans for the future and some useful tools and resources for putting these plans into action.

As a result of Julie’s coaching, I feel more confident about my career choices and my capacity to achieve my goals. It has been a privilege to work with Julie and I would strongly recommend her to anyone seeking coaching to move forward with their career plans.”
